In 2018, a group of students at Dhaka Commerce College came together with a clear purpose — to explore technology beyond textbooks and classrooms. What started as the IT Club quickly became a space where curiosity met practical learning. Students gathered to code, experiment, share knowledge, and build projects that went beyond academic requirements.
As interest grew, so did the vision. The IT Club later merged with the Science Club, bringing together two communities that shared the same drive for discovery and innovation. This union formed the Science & IT Club — a single, stronger platform dedicated to both scientific exploration and technological advancement.
Over the years, the club has evolved into one of the most prestigious student organizations at Dhaka Commerce College. Through workshops, competitions, collaborative projects, and continuous skill-building, it has created opportunities for hundreds of students to grow as thinkers, builders, and future innovators.
Today, DCC Science & IT Club continues to stand as a place where ideas are encouraged, skills are sharpened, and young minds are prepared to shape the future with knowledge, creativity, and purpose.
